Diversity in Quantum

Promoting diversity and inclusion leads to more innovative solutions, creative ideas, and stronger collaboration. Some of the most important discoveries in physics and computer science would not exist today without the research conducted by various individuals from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds.
ColibriTD is dedicated to creating and maintaining an inclusive workplace for people of diverse backgrounds who share a passion for quantum computing research and innovation. We believe that each employee benefits from diversity, as it provides an opportunity to leverage different perspectives and experiences.
We are always excited to hear about new quantum computing talent, especially from women and other individuals who are underrepresented in STEM. If you’re interested in becoming a part of our team, please take a look at our job openings and get in touch.

Leap years
ahead of competitors
Fraction of the cost, same power.
Simulations require solving a physical problem in a grid. The finer the grid, the more precise the simulation. Quantum computers rival classical ones with as few
as
20-30
high quality qubits!
A single solution linking to the
70+
available quantum computers.
Currently, there are approximately 70 quantum hardware providers offering various qubit technologies.
QUICK is tailored to this landscape, designed to be hardware-agnostic, ensuring readiness for any qubit technology that may emerge as the standard, thus making it a low-risk and future-proof computational tool.
Are you ready to take a quantum leap into the 5th Industrial Revolution?

Meet our awesome team!

Meet our incredible quantum experts, developers and scientists.
Dr. Laurent Guiraud
CTO
Dr. Laurent Guiraud co-founded ColibriTD in 2019 as a Technical Director (CTO) with the objective of preparing companies for the second quantum revolution by building an R&D pole in quantum algorithmic research. He holds a doctorate in atomic physics obtained in 1996 and has more than 25 years of experience with the world’s largest IT players with a focus in cloud computing and big data. He’s also the winner of the Google Innovation Award.
Hacène Goudjil
Hacène, passionate about ecology, with a successful career in business development and corporate social responsibility, co-founded ColibriTD with Dr. Laurent Guiraud back in 2019 as the president, and oversees strategy, finance and business development.
Dr. Youcef Mohdeb
Dr. Youcef Mohdeb completed his master’s degree in mathematical physics at Aix-Marseille University, followed by a Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter physics at Constructor University in Bremen, Germany. After his studies, he joined ColibriTD as a Quantum Computing Researcher with the aim of developing quantum computing and making it more accessible for industrial uses.
Dr. Nadia Milazzo
Dr. Nadia Milazzo discovered her interest in quantum mechanics during her master’s degree studies at University of Palermo. She went on to research quantum entanglement of multi-qubit states and channels during her doctoral studies at University of Tübingen and Université Paris-Saclay. Today, she is continuing her journey as a researcher at ColibriTD. During her spare time, she enjoys dancing, reading, cooking and travelling.
Dr. Marta Reina
Since her first years in high school, Dr. Marta Reina was fascinated by physics. She ended up discovering her love for quantum mechanics during her university studies and studied the quantum problem of the spontaneous emission of two entangled atoms in the presence of an oscillating mirror, as well as heat transfer at nanoscale. After completing her studies, she is now pursuing her passion of quantum mechanics as a member of the R&D team at ColibriTD.
Dr. Karla Baumann
Dr. Karla Baumann received her PhD in Theory and Numerical Simulation of Condensed Matter at SISSA in Trieste, where she used expensive computational methods to solve interacting systems on different lattice geometries. After a postdoctoral position at ESPCI, where she studied correlated quantum materials and their transport properties, she joined ColibriTD, where she is currently keen on building new strategies that make quantum computing accessible to everyone.
Dr. Hamza Jaffali
Dr. Hamza Jaffali is currently a researcher in the ColibriTD R&D team. He has always had a passion for mathematics and computer science and completed his studies in computer engineering. After this, he continued his academic path to doctoral studies, and wrote his thesis on quantum information theory and quantum entanglement. This gave him the opportunity to explore various new subjects, including machine learning, algebraic geometry and numerical optimization. At ColibriTD, he combines his expertise in quantum computing and other fields for developing innovative products and solutions.
Dr. Henri de Boutray
Dr. Henri de Boutray has had a passion for science from a young age. He has a profound desire to contribute to the constantly evolving field of quantum computing. Moreover, he’s very tech savvy and an excellent programmer, as well as an enthusiastic member of the ColibrITD research team. He takes great pleasure in improving operating systems.
Dr. Roland Katz
Fascinated by physics and astronomy since childhood, Dr. Roland Katz first completed a double degree in engineering physics at Ecole Centrale and Lund University. He then obtained a PhD degree on the quantum description of heavy quark systems inside a quark-gluon plasma. He pursued these researches at the cross-road of open quantum systems and particle physics during two post-doctoral positions atthe University of São Paulo and at Institut Mines-Telecom. He also had the opportunity to teach quantum mechanics and programming, among other topics, at Nantes University. He is now pursuing his quantum path as a R&D engineer at ColibriTD where he develops quantum algorithms for use-cases. During his spare time, he enjoys photography, arts and astronomy.
